Billie Louise Richards, 67, of Weatherford, died early Monday morning, March 13, 2000, in the local hospital. Born Feb 18, 1933 in Lexington, she was a resident of Weatherford for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostal Church of God. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Almeda Barker in 1945 and two sisters, Patsy Whitmire in 1956 and Oma Phelps in 1995.

Survivors include her husband, J.D. Richards of Weatherford; two daughters: Benita Richards of New Port Richey, Fla. and Cathy Chancellor of Weatherford; one son, Jeff Richards of El Paso; father, Ernest Barker of Eastland; sisters: Ernestine Ables of Weatherford, Anita Baker of Weatherford, Nelda Rogers of Lubbock and Peggy Alexander of Celina; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 16 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17 in the Megargel Cemetery in Archer County with Bro. Carl Williams and Pastor Lawrence Kerns officiating.
